I am going to make this simple. This is a ridiculous product. One "cup" of coffee is a 4oz amount of liquid.
To make a decent cup of real coffee, it takes me running it two times with a total of 4 pods each.
Try one pod one time, and you get... I dont know what that stuff is, but it isnt coffee for sure.
How is this product even on the market... I mean I really want to know- how
does this company sell this product?

I bought this for the office and thought I would try to save a few bucks over the Keurig low end model. If I had it to do over, I would spend a little more and get the Keurig. The Senseo makes good coffee, but

(1.) Dealing with the filters is messier than the Keurig
(2.) The coffee selection is not nearly as great as the Keurig
(3.) My unit leaks quite a bit...and not just water, but dirty leftover coffee in the system. I cleaned under it today and found heavy stains. -- Good coffee but it can't compare to Keurig

Love the coffee from this single serve machine. Very easy to use and much less expensive to buy both machine and pods vs. Kuerig brand.
Coffee is very tasty and love the frothy part. Reminds me a latte at a fraction of the cost. It does make small cups, so if you drink alot of coffee, you will go thru alot of pods. This isn't a problem for me, but could be a disappointment for some.
I recommend pouring milk in coffee mug before coffee brews into mug....this way the milk gets warmed up to along with the coffee! -- Senseo SL7810/65 Single Serve Coffee Maker

I purchased my original Senseo Coffee maker almost three years ago from Wal-Mart. Now, they no longer carry them and mine has a hinge broken on one side of the top where you clamp down on the pod. I purchased another one from Amazon.com just recently in case the other side of the hinge breaks off while I'm in the middle of making coffee. If that did happen, it would me to have a very BAD morning needless to say. I am still using the old one until it breaks completely. When I first started using the Senseo, I was trying various types of pre-made pods but I finally decided that I would only be happy choosing my own brands of coffee to drink versus their choices. So I invested in a POD Maker, have purchased a years supply of empty pods at a time and I now make a variety of my own flavored coffee. I make up about a months supply all at once and I keep them in the freezer. The system works great for me versus grinding the coffee every morning and having to get out the POD maker to seal up a pod to make one cup of coffee. I LOVE this coffee maker and it doesn't take up much counter space versus those other brands. That's important as I live in a motor coach with limited counter space. -- One of The BEST Single Pod Coffee Makers ! ! !

We have only had the Senseo SL7810 coffee machine for about a month, but so far we have been very satisfied with its performance. Senseo coffee pods produce weak coffee if only one is used. To get good coffee it is necessary to use two pods. This does add to the overall cost of the system but the convenience and speed of the system make this expense tolerable. We had some Melitta pods left over from our old machine. These work easily in the Senseo (and produce a stronger brew). The standard water reservoir is very small, so we bought the larger one. Again, an inconvenience but one that is easily remedied. Overall we are pleased and would recommend the product to our friends. -- Senseo coffee machine works well
