This is a great flipper. I bought it, along with 2 others of different sizes, when offered a discount. It's definitely too big for everyday use (i.e. grilled cheese sandwiches, burgers, fish, etc.) but if you're big on pancakes or crepes, this is the perfect tool! I love silicone flippers too, because even if you leave them leaning in the pan, they won't melt, and the end doesn't get grungy with the remnants of whatever you've cooked. -- The Pancake Champion

I use it on a non-stick surface and it works great. My nephew was over and wanted to make pancakes and tried to use it on a old skillet. It really didn't work that well on a non-stick surface. -- Works well on non-stick, but so so on others

I love my pancakes on a Sunday morning, and there is nothing I can say bad about this item. I've had mine for years and the front edge of the turner (where you slide it under the pancake) is still just as flat and as 'sharp' as it was the day I bought it. It's easy to handle and the spatula part is large enough to support anything but the largest of pancakes. In looking at the picture, it seems like it doesn't do the real size of this thing justice because the flat part is the biggest I've ever seen on any spatula. It's very wide! -- Perfection
